Upon starting, I was immediately tasked with turning a four week residential programme into an entirely online offer because of the pandemic. This meant upscaling online content from 12 pieces a month to over 80 to ensure that young people felt connected in an unprecedented time and beyond.
I was the sole Copywriter of the company and was responsible for ensuring our TOV was consistent both externally and internally. Day to day work included: blog content and conception, creating TOV guidelines, updating brand guidelines, website and SEO optimisation, CRM journeys, newsletters and brochures, annual reports, social campaigns, and editorials.
Co-created and led Writers’ Club, mentoring ten young writers annually, leading workshops, group, and one on one writing sessions, to help the young writers flourish, learn how to voice their thoughts, opinions and passions, and become confident in their writing skills. Led to providing work experience for one writer and being their line manager throughout. -
Ragged Edge : Global educational piece for Martini, comprising of key messaging, TOV, immersive education experience script/story, extensive timeline of Martini history and product history, tasting mat, botanicals map and fact cards. Brand packaging for Grey Goose Vodka. Website copy for Heights Multivitamins.
Dalziel & Pow : In-store experiential copy for Twinings Tea, packaging copy for multiple whisky brands under Diageo.
Boden : In house children’s and women’s wear digital communications, online editorials, and organic/paid social media.
NCS : In house copy for new rebrand, internal communications, social media overhauls, digital communications and blog posts.
Intrafocus Limited : In house company website overhaul, ensuring over 300 pages were consistent in messaging. Writing a narrative led set of 38, easy to read, accessible user guides for anyone using Intrafocus software. Scriptwriting for tutorial videos.
Blackbook Limited : Global messaging for FedEx; both internal and customer facing. Collateral included brand guidelines, TOV guidelines, 60, 30 and 15 second film scripts, website copy and playbook.

Futerra is a change agency in London, with an aim to make sustainability so desirable it becomes normal. As part of the small copy team, I worked individually and alongside strategy, planning and design. I was responsible for taking on clients and bringing their sustainability stories and missions to life through narratives, editorial pieces, websites, scripts, social media overhauls, reports and more to help create exciting, eye-catching campaigns from conception to completion.

Judge, BBC 500 Words Competition: 500 Words is the UK’s largest story writing competition for 5-11 year olds. As a judge, I was responsible for marking stories written by 5-7 year olds, on five criteria: originality, characterisation, plot, language, and enjoyment.
Writing Mentor, The Ministry of Stories: Working with school children aged 8 to 12, to write stories, whether it be through script writing, song writing, animation, poetry, spoken word. I guided the kids, got them excited about storytelling, built their writing confidence and nurtured their self expression.
